[AT] Antifreeze question

What was the kind of Prestone they had in 1964? I remember putting a half a 
gallon can (came in cans back then) in the car and set the rest of the can on 
the ground by the front tire (dogs and cats did not drink the stuff back then). 
Next morning it was about 20 degrees and what was in the can was slush, 
almost froze.
