[AT] Cockshutt 40 rims

I have torched out pretty good size chunks, almost all the way across the
rim. Then cut a good peice out of another bad rim while still on the
tractor. clamp the part and mig weld them together. Cant even tell it after
its done (sometimes depends on whose rim it was) Mine show a little sign on
the super C but it works just fine.
The worse job I got into on rim repairs was some 460U spinouts. They really
weld the spinout bars on good and you know how they are to weld back in.
So they will still fit and adjust right.
Those were off the tractor :-)
Needle scaler will find the small holes for ya, and get rid of that growth
where th calcium chloride laid between the tube and rim.
I have used 3-4 rolls of duct tape inside a pair of 560 rims. And thats been
6 years ago so far so good. Always use air only as we dont need the weight
that bad.
Antfreeze water mix or methanol if you need weight.
