In some areas across Ohio, those medians are disappearing as the
highways are having more lanes added.  Kentucky is now placing triple
strands of steel cable down the median to keep everybody (including
State troopers) from crossing them.

I always thought they should let us farm the median.  That way they
wouldn't 
have to pay to have it mowed and the patrolman couldn't cut across it.
