Be sure?  He said it was a Ym1500.. that -IS- a grey market unit.. as are 
all of the 4 digit units ( and about 5 of the 3 digit units ..177, and 273 
are the 3 digit ones I know of.. however there are a few more ).  The rest 
of the 3 digit units are for domestic US trade.

a working 1500 and finish mower for just over a grand?  sounds like a good 
deal to me.  My 1700 was a nice machine.
