tractor fuel efficiency

I know that our newer Very High HP tractors can be ran at reduced
throttle and that has helped immensely but our older tractors needed the FULL
throttle setting to get enough power to get enough speed... the old engines
had to be ran full throttle to stop the slobber as well

the new computer controls control the amounts of raw fuel dumped into the
cylinders a lot better than the old mechanical systems so you dont have to run
wide open all the time...

SO I AM TOLD BY THE MANUFACTURers....... :) ok...

I do know that the old tractor burnt 9-10 gal an hour... the new one runs
around 14 (when working hard) but we get more out of the new one...

ok..
