According to my mostly accurate records,  Peerless 13588 is a 1908 model.
The 1903 I bet refers to the casting number  for one of two caps over the
relief valves in the steam chest cover.   As for the water tank - it should
be the same as the left but  reversed.  I can't advise on the stack because
I've never had it  off...

Very cool parade idea.

Dan Henry of Perrysburg, OH  bought a Peerless TT SN#13588 last summer and is
looking for information.  According to the prior owner, the engine was
shipped new to Virginia  somewhere. Dan bought it from a man near Green
Springs, OH. He said that  they farmed with it.

Dan has been told that it is a 1903 or a 1908.  Does anyone have a serial
number list to give him a better idea? The valve  cover has 1903 in it. The
engine has had a tough life and it appears to  have sustained damage to the
right side. Several brackets have been broken.  He doesn't know if a few of
the wooden spokes broke or it went through a  bridge.

It has the original left rear tank, but a 55 gal drum on the  right. He has
the base for the right, but no clue what the top looks  like.

The engine needs a new firebox door. His is barely hanging  together.

He is also intrigued by the canopy. He says it is boat shaped  with no nails
or bolts apparent anywhere. How did they put it  together?

Add how to put the smokestake together to the list  also!

Does anyone have a catalog for it and know how many might be  left? He said
that it looks exactly like Paul Ward's Q (HI Paul! ) and if  he gets it to
Wauseon that he wants one to drive forward & one  backwards so everyone can
see each side as it goes through the  parade!

Dan's also trying to do some valve work to it and is befuddled  by the set
up.

Dan prefers snail mail, but if you get the  information to me, I can send it
on.
