  I use a car stereo in the garage hooked up to a spare battery .  The
antenna is a chunk of wire about 5 ft long ,one end is stripped and crimped
to a round "bullet connector . It fits into the center connector for the car
antenna , no ground wire though .  Speakers (4) are the cheap box type from
Wally mart.   It has no problems pulling in my favorite station,25 miles
away.
 I can crank it up and hear it outside when I'm working on the tractor .
