Thanks, Bill.  Good advice.  Ed has been keeping close tabs on EBAY for 
quite some time now, but hasn't connected with anything.  He did buy a 
chasis without motor here in NY, that is currently living at my place.  
He is looking for a motor and is collecting a few other parts.  He 
still might be better off to start with a whole tractor.  He plans to 
pick up the one here in June.

There are at least 2 on eBay at this time, one L and one LA.  Each has
"issues", one a bit severely so, and neither close to Arizona.  But by
watching these and others that come up you can get a feel for price so 
can
bid knowledgeably when there is one that takes your fancy.
