[AJD] Manifold and exaust pipe issues 45 A

   I bought a new exaust pipe for my 1945 A,  today I
was
working on putting it back together,  and it is a good
6" short of being long enough to get the job done.   I
have an A3386R manifold on it instead of the A2383R
manifold that it should have as a all fuel,  but I
seriously doubt that it is going to have the exaust
flange stuck out another 6 inches to get that pipe far
enough forward to line up like it should.  I have been
told that the dimensions are the same on the A2383R
and A3386R manifolds.  

      I suppose that the new pipe could have been
labeled wrong,  but it has both a sticker with the
part number on it,  and it is written on the part with
a paint pen..

      Any ideas?
