[AT] new subject: Vickers pump housing

My neighbor has a Ford 800 (1956) with a Ford backhoe attachment.

He split the hyd pump's housing when he incompletely hooked up the quick
connect hose.

The system doesn't have a bypass valve, which puzzles me, and especially
since he said that this has happened before.

Even if it didn't come "factory" with one, I'd be darn sure to remedy that
myself if I had one.

Anyhow, the pump is off and apart and all that looks damaged is the housing
(has a cast-in id # "Vickers 168078"), which is in two pieces.

Any idea where to get one, or the whole pump, reasonably ?

We are in Southeastern Pa, if it means anything.

Thanks, Bruce Thompson
