[AT] TIG welding--a little OT

I bought one of the first Jackson auto helmets about 8 years ago.  I have 
another one also.  I  bought Jackson because I wanted the backing of an 
American company if it damaged my eyes.  the darkening time is the important 
thing I think, shorter the better.
