[Farmall] NAIS

Sorry Dave , I thought on something seemingly so important , everyone would 
be conversant with it.
Its the National Animal Identification System , where all your stock would 
need to be microchipped and recorded on a central database , and all 
movements advised too.
Australia has already got a system (NLIS)for cattle sheep and goats destined 
for the food chain , but nothing else , it is nowhere near as far reaching 
as NAIS.
There is a heap of material on the internet , but to tap in to it quickly go 
to "Rural Heritage" Front Porch , or on the Small Farmers Journal site , the 
editorial .
I realise that strictly speaking this is OT , but I believe it will affect 
most of you with Farmalls.
