[AT] King Kutter bearings

	The passenger side quill bearings went out on my 5' King cutter finish mower last 
week and due to attending CubFest in Ohio I just got a chance to tear it down 
yesterday. I was a little annoyed to discover that there were absolutely no markings 
on the bearings at all. It just so happened that laying on a small portable bench 
next to where I was working were most of the guts of a Shopsmith Mark V model 500 
that I am in the middle of refurbishing to sell. The bearings in it were all OK and 
I would normally just relube them for my use. This one was for resale so I want to 
put in all new ones. I noted that they seemed about the same size so I pulled one 
and checked. Wow! An exact fit...   How often does that happen?   <(^¿^)>
	Now I will be sure I save any good ones that I pull off and put them in the spare 
parts container for the King Kutter... Those Shopsmith bearings sure made that mower 
quieter.

	BTW, I have been amazed at how well that 18 HP Yanmar YM-1500 pulls that 5' mower 
(both bought from a neighbor this year). I was cutting part of the barn lot area 
yesterday that was about 6" tall and able to run in 7th gear no problem.
	At some point when I find some $$$$ I would like to pick up a very bargain priced 
4' bush-hog for it. I may also get a 4' 3 point box scraper for it.
	I also will be wanting a cultivator for my Farmall #$%& CUB for next year if I can 
find a complete set cheap enough. I may just make a set. They can be pretty simple 
for my use...
	It seems strange to be looking for small stuff after buying bigger and bigger stuff 
for years but the little stuff fits the direction I am going better. This Yanmar is 
about 41" wide and will drive right through a 48" horse stall door or gate. The 
Farmall CUB cultivators will be ideal for the pumpkins and indian corn we are 
growing.
	I have 8 old Gravely's that I hope to combine into at least 4 very good ones and 
they do a great job of such chores as mowing small or very steep spots. I also have 
the rotary plow and rotary tiller for them and several other attachments. 
	I did use one big disk for the indian corn plot but our two 24' field cultivators 
stayed parked. I need to move them to another lot and put them up on some old boards 
or something. I want to make some support stands for the two big disks to store them 
up off off of the ground. I should sell some stuff but I hate to burn too many 
bridges too soon... Too many times in my life I have made a U-turn and needed a 
bridge again...   <(^¿^)>
