[Farmall] Farmall 340 Not starting

Could there be a break in the wire from the coil to the distributer, so that when stretched a little there is no contact, but when compressed a bit it is making contact?

Roger, Yes I mean the "Secondary cable," as the IH Blue Ribbon Manual calls
