[Farmall] Some ads from the 7/22 Lancaster Farming

This is just my own personal opinion, but I don't think that an H is
capable of handling more than a light weight loader with a trip manure
bucket. Unless you have an external hydraulic pump driven off of the
engine, you are stuck with that miserable little "belly" pump that only
runs when the clutch is out and develops something like 750 psi on a
good day with barely enough fluid to fill two 1" cylinders and a rating
in gallons/hour, not gallons/minute. Add a loaded bucket that the heavy
steering on the H, and you have a real muscle builder on your hands. I
don't think that putting a loader on an H is worth the effort, when you
could have twice the machine in a Super H or 350 (and even then, you
need power steering if you are going to move any heavy material). Oh, I
am sure that there are some who claim that they had/have this wonderful
H with a loader and how great it is/was, but I think that kind of thing
is the exception, not the rule. Again, just my opinion, and I won't
argue with you if you think I am wrong. :-)

And, by the way, I am in the process of putting just such a loader, a
very old and tired Super Six, on my Super M. I am not sure why I am
doing it - I guess maybe to have a neat project and maybe move a little
snow this winter. The price was reasonable, and I like a mechanical
challenge.
