The book is "White Trucks" - 1900-1937 Photo Archive.  It is  photographs 
from the Detroit Public Library's National Automotive History  Collection.   
Iconografix is the publisher.    
 
Good book and a wealth of information.  We also have a friend who  restores 
firetrucks for a living.  I'll get with him and see if he has some  additional 
resources for you as well.
