Hi Phil,

I live in an area where we get a fair bit of snow during a normal winter 
and in fact, I just finished blowing my place out. I use a 1975 John 
Deere 214 with a single stage blower on it. Works fine for me. At least 
you know what your tractor is like and are not dealing with all
the unkowns of buying a used tractor. I don't think it will wear your 
tractor out any faster than cutting grass or what ever else you use it for.
