Ok, things are on the way. In case you need any parts for that Oliver 70, I
have a whole rear end here and transmission and a front tricycle pedestal.

The Oliver 70 that asked about a few weeks ago is now sitting in front of
Dad's shop. We had a warm and sunny Sunday so I tinkered with the new toy a
little. The air hose came out and lots of dirt mouse nests..... were
removed. One of the steel wheels was already on the axle and we removed the
cast center (and remains or wheel/tire) from the other side and installed
the steel wheel. I got a bucket of oil and a brush and started oilling any
bolts that I thought that I would want to losen some day. I pulled the hood
and the valve cover. Checked all of the valves and hve one that sticks
down. Some oil and wiggling will fix the sticky valve. We put some oil in
the cylinders and I turned it over with the crank. I have a pretty good
feeling about the engine I bet its a runner. I need to get a service manual
for this tractor. Someone please suggest a source for the manual that they
are happy with. I'm also interested in some 38" wheels to fit the cast
centers. The original size was 11-40 but both the wheels and tires are hard
to come by. The tractor also needs the right side grill panel and the
smaller side panels on both sides. It looks like the side panels are flat
pieces so I may be able to make new ones if I can find some originals to
copy.
