[AT] OT: Flashback - Early Farmers Building County Roads

HeathKit started out by selling left over WW-II  parts to build there stuff. 
they then slowly went to building their own kits  from parts that they put 
together from new sources. I built several kits and  never had any trouble but I 
heard from others that did. My cousin built a large  Stereo system that played 
beautifully. I never had the guts to spend that much  on something that I put 
together.
