[AT] Old shop lathe motor-- motor questions for you "experts"

Hi Cecil!  Yep, it is single phase.  Guess I failed to mention that 
before.  What makes you think it is a two speed motor?  Hope it 
is!  But...the wiring diagram on the motor just gives directions for wiring 
either 115 or 230 volts.  Since the indicated speeds were next to the 
"50/60 cycles" I kinda figured the different speeds were for the different 
cycles it runs on.??    Thanks for your response!    John W.
