[AT] What tractor for my snowblower?

I stopped in at a local shop yesterday to pick up some special order
parts for reproducing tractor wiring harness and noticed that they had a
Walker zero-turn mower on display with a single stage snow blower on the
front of it instead of the mower deck. I asked how many of those had
been sold this year. They laughed and said there hasn't been one sold
in the entire region (southern Indiana) since 2003. Walkers are kind of
the Lexus or BMW of the lawn mower set, but I can't imagine being
situated that close to the discharge chute of a snow blower without
MAJOR protection to keep from freezing your face off. The coupling is
so close you can literally reach out and put your feet on top of the
auger housing.

Farmall 340 or International 340U - with working TA for low speed
reverse and either three point hitch or Fast Hitch with 3-pt adapters.

But I will tell you that running a snow blower on the back of ANY
tractor is a pain in the neck (pun intended). If you look at my
Lancaster Farming listings, you will see a lot of three point
snowblowers for sale, listed as "almost new". When I sold tractors and
implements for a living, I sold one used three point blower and no new
ones. We did sell a couple of new front mounted blowers, but they were
expensive and were sold to wealthy people with very long driveways and
installed on larger hydro tractors with cabs (and heat).
