Mark, I think your right. After some searching I found my 1963 Case buyers 
guide and they have the identical crawler in there , just like the one at 
the auction. There were three versions of the 310 listed. One with blade 
like the pic that Dudley showed, another with front end loader and 3/4 yard 
bucket like the one at the auction, and one with no attachments at all. Its 
advertised as a 42 horsepower Case engine available as gas or diesel.
This one at the auction looks to be a good parts machine to me, a little too 
used up.
