Hello Out There!

About 4 years ago I ventured into the realm of the restoration of this "H" circa 1950.
I showed my ignorance then and reaffirm same now. I've progressed very slowly from the rebuilding of the carb, to the radiator, water pump, oil pump, and had the generator and starter both checked and cleaned. I've installed new parts as called for, most minor. I've cleaned and painted all the external parts as I removed them for cleaning, etc., figuring that anybody repainting the whole tractor would probably not be able to get to some of those places. I've generally worked my way aft from the radiator (which was super fun removing!) and have put the steering shaft back through the radiator and connected same. My Question now is what grade of lubricant do I put in the worm and sector container and how much. The manual says in one place 1 pint (doesn't mention grade) and in another place (specifications, etc.) mentions 1 quart. I think it is only a pint because that section won't hold a quart but I'm still ignorant as to grade.I've got to get this project finished within the
next few months or I'll be too old to continue!!
You old iron specialists advice is sorely needed. I've been following the net for some time now and save anything that might apply to my work on my tractor.
I'd love to come to one of the Roundups but haven't managed yet. The closest I've been is to the Steam affair near Gap, PA in July several years ago.
I'll watch for a reply as you've always been good to reply to us Ignorants!
