To Harry Bryant-
I thought you might get a little kick out of this....
My wife and I have been in the process of cleaning up/cleaning out a 77 acre parcel that belonged to my wife's family from around the beginning of recorded time. You may read about the McCormick Deering 10-20 that I came across. Anyway, it turns out that some tractors were spirited away by some of my wife's family members. According to a grandson, there are at least two M's and two H's not too far away and it appears that they are "unwanted". Whadda Think? I have not seen any of them and I really don't "need" them but, then again.....

I've progressed very slowly from the rebuilding of the carb, to the radiator, water pump, oil pump, and had the generator and starter both checked and cleaned. I've installed new parts as called for, most minor. I've cleaned and painted all the external parts as I removed them for cleaning, etc., figuring that anybody repainting the whole tractor would probably not be able to get to some of those places. I've generally worked my way aft from the radiator (which was super fun removing!) and have put the steering shaft back through the radiator and connected same. My Question now is what grade of lubricant do I put in the worm and sector container and how much. The manual says in one place 1 pint (doesn't mention grade) and in another place (specifications, etc.) mentions 1 quart. I think it is only a pint because that section won't hold a quart but I'm still ignorant as to grade.I've got to get this project fini
