[AJD] Power Lift Serial Number vs Tractor Serial Number????

Is there some published reference anywhere that lists the power lift serial
numbers vs what tractor model and serial number they were used on? Or some
range or some reference of any kind to get a general correlation.  Now I
know these could be added or removed at the dealer and changed by owners so
the records probably can be used as ball park only but.... 

I seem to recall that JD recorded the power lift serial numbers in some of
the production records for the earlier unstyled tractors. I have the
unstyled B registry maybe something can be gleaned from that. But what about
the A's and G's, etc? 

My guess is someone with hopefully an ANAL personality has done some kind of
research into this. 

Why am I asking?  I just ran into a reference where a "B" power (PTO) shaft
part number "where/when used" information was not tied to the tractor serial
number but to the Power Lift Serial number.  That is something I hadn't run
into before on power shafts. 

And yes, I can get the serial number off of the Power Lifts I have on my
tractors but is there some general reference document that provides more
encompassing info in this area?
