[Farmall] Reflection about a 1947 Farmall Cub tractor

I would like to see a Cub with a 25 horsepower engine, and I suspect the
blade is 4 1/2 not 5' but anyway the story brought back memories of trying
to start my Farmall 340 a few weeks ago here in Nebraska, and he he pretty
well got the sentiments right!!! Using a battery charger, block heater,
and starter fluid, I finally got it going, but then the hydraulics were
frozen. I guess it is too new (1961) to scoff at the cold as Mr.
Kooser's 1947 Cub does By the way I met him recently when he spoke at
the University of Nebraska-Kearney commencement on December 16th. He
said he had made more than 130 public presentations in the past year.

Or maybe like the rest of us that live in the North, check your
battery and buy a new one if needed, before Winter. A Cub isn't bad
to crank, but my M is!
