Lawrence,

Troy healed in his camper for the rest of the day and was "ok" for the rest
of the show.

Cheers,

Ted,

I'm going to go one further with you concerning motorized transportation.
It isn't just up to the board, as there are only so many members and they
are usually pretty busy with the day-in-day-out activities of the show. But
it is also the responsibility of all members. If you see a kid riding
around on a machine or someone being irresponsible, and a director isn't
close by to bring it to their attention, then you must do the responsible
thing and approach the person and stop whatever it is they are doing wrong.
I'm sure Paul and Troy would agree on this. It is too bad that the two
responsible adults in charge of the child took off in shame and didn't own
up to the accident. Can't hardly blame the child for the parents poor
judgment. I'm assuming that Troy is okay, but smarter for the experience?

Lawrence

Im sure that some shows have a good policy about the use of the type of
vehicals we were talking about.Im sure that people who are running
engines, tractors need some type of vehical to get around to haul things
you need to run a steamengine or gas tractor. Those people are not the
problem. They use common sence when operating around people. Its the
person who comes to the show with scooters and all terrain units on the
trailer and unload them and think they can do anything with them. Its up
to the directors of the shows to see that this dont happen. Ted
