[Farmall] Farmall H transmission leak

The answer to all your questions will be found in the manual you get 
from Binder Books - it is an exact reproduction of the dealer service 
manual and is EXCELLENT. There are diagrams of the transmission that 
show how everything works. In general, the IH (and John Deere and Ford, 
to be fair) produced very good service manuals that left very little 
uncovered. It is one reason why I mostly have IH tractors (with a few 
Fords thrown in to keep things interesting). The manual you bought is 
part of the I-T series and is good for some stuff, but is far from 
complete - sort of a "Readers Digest" version of the real thing. The IH 
manual covers virtually every aspect of the tractor, front to back (with 
the exception of optional accessories, of which the Lift-All system was 
one). Unfortunately, the only source for Lift-All manuals is Jensales, 
and the quality of the manual is not even close to that of a Binder 
Books manual.
