[AJD] LA axles

Okay, I know you guys are just having a ball laughing at this  newbie. 
 
I got the axle out. Now how the heck do I get the bull gear out?  It  will 
come about 3/4 of the way out and wont go any further. I sure wish Mother  Deere 
would have made a shop manual for this little gem.  Thanks again,
