[Steam-engine] Inspection at Wauseon

Hi Paul,

I prefer inspection at home where you have your tools, etc, but just wanted
to check. Delong was concerned about how many he will need to inspect & how
many inspectors to schedule.

I'm happy to hear Renee's logic won out! Your chains were rather
cumbersome!

We like to be of use! To date, the golf carts are not yet outlawed, but
they are being watched. Shall we design some type of "protection" for Troy!
:)

Beth

Beth,

Regarding, "Do we need to put you on the inspection at the show list? We
are trying to
get a feel for that to keep our inspector friends happy....."

I am probably going to have Ole Bet inspected prior to the show. I'd prefer
to have any repairs made prior to arriving at Wauseon. That cast iron ash
pan is much easier to put back on the engine when you're on asphalt or
concrete and have a hefty floor jack to help.

Yes I have 3/8" chains this year. As a matter of fact Renee' told me, in no
uncertain terms, that if I wanted her help loading and unloading the engine
ever again - get smaller chains. SO now I'm the proud owner of 4 Grade 70
3/8" chains and binders.

I must say that the NTA offloading crew and fellow engineers were _very_
willing to help me last year. I really appreciated everyone's help and I
really enjoyed being part of the show.

BTW - Have golf carts been outlawed there yet? I'm a little edgy when I
hear that type of engine and I'm _very_ sure that Troy is wary of them
too...... (if ya know what I mean.)

Cheers,

Paul Ward
