Hey Richard-- I agree with Dave Meyers that what's done is done.  Pull 
the wire and drive on 5.   My experience was with a flathead Plymouth 
6-- sort of lost power-- apart, I found 2 pistons with 50-cent size 
holes in them.  No trace of the middles ever showed up.  Around the 
"holes" the top was *rough* so I suspected that the extra pieces got 
chunked into that.  No trace ever in the sump. 

Old time mechanic told me to replace all 6-- the the others were going 
to go pretty soon if 2 went already.  I don't know if he was right, but 
the engine later (w/6 new pistons) went to 200,000 miles.    As they 
say, your mileage may vary.   Good luck and good fortune on your
