My Dell system is over five years old and was originally equipped with a 1.0
USB card. A couple of years ago or so I pulled that cart and installed a 2.0
card it has more connection points than the original.  Now the system doesn
t hollar at me because I have connected a 2.0 device to a 1.0 port.

Several people well versed in computer lingo hang out on Farmer's Cheap
computer list.
