[Farmall] 330U info?

Matthew,
I think it is great you want to discuss non-American IH tractors.
I happen to have a herd of French and German built IH tractors.
You would be surprised at the number of people who are surprised that IH
built outside of
the US. I get all sorts of questions at tractor shows when I have a German
2 cyl. diesel tractor at a show.
I think a lot of this has to do with the American narrow mind and (hate to
say it) arrogance that everything came from here. As long as we keep
educating 'em.
I mentioned once that I had a Super Cub and a guy unloaded on me with all of
his fury that IH never built such a thing and I was full of it, why would I
fake a tractor, etc.....and this guy was a IH guru that everyone took his
word as gospel. It is fun to prove those guys wrong.
Ken Updike told me that the only reason he writes books is to prove the
"experts" wrong. :-)
They are still copying IH tractors in India.

Mike
