I received this anonymous message from one of the most reliable sources in the JD arena who asked to be left out of this mailing for right now.  I'm passing it on as I was asked to do. More info on this later.

that is NOT a JD motorcycle prototype.
Numerous knockoffs have been made through the years but never an official bike except the few 
produced in the last five years or so as incentives through JD's licensed supplier of 
memorabilia. (if we bought X amount of tshirts, etc the dealership was entered in a drawing for 
a JD Harley. At least two different bikes were made in different years as I recall, close 
enough anyway)
