And a very happy new year to you too Charlie. I have about five and a
half hours left in 2006.
Your right, I wouldn't mind bringing home that Cockshutt 30.
Surprisingly I have found about three of them coming up at farm auction
sales the spring of 07. I was really amazed at the prices for parts on
ebay. Those front panels and nose strip are now available as new steel
parts from some company in the U.S. . Something like $160 for a pair of
front grille panels? When I think how many of them got caved in and
tossed into scrap iron piles its just hard to imagine. Glad I don't need
any for mine.
Well the sun has set on 06 here in Sask. and we continue to enjoy above
normal temps and just enough snow to make it feel like winter. When I
say above normal don't think I mean warm. I was trying to re-install the
carb on the Cockshutt 40 this morning and still nearly froze my fingers
at +5F.
