If it is a Model F (American) Fordson, the wrist pin is held in by a clamp
bolt in the small end of the connecting rod. If you look up into the bottom
of the piston you should see it (you may need to dig some crud out). The rod
eyelet is split and the pin has a notch in it for the bolt to go through.
The valve guides are pressed into the block. They have a shoulder on top, so
they need to be driven out from the bottom. If you can find a long punch or
rod to fit up through the lifter hole, they usually don't drive out too hard.
Sorry I can't help you with the Montana machine shop, since I'm on the
opposite side of the country :-)
