Here's a neat little program I found by Googling "Tire Comparator".

It compares tires in three different size descriptions, P-metric, 
Light Truck and the old 31X10.50X15 description.
It displays a tach and speedo for each size if you put in your final 
drive ratio so you can see the affect a different
tire size has. I switched from P235/75X15 to 31/10.50X15 on my truck 
and it shows that at 45 MPH I am actually
doing 48 MPH. I just adjust my speed accordingly.
