[Farmall] Regular

Hey Guy..this interests me as well..the Regular I have is numbered QC34005. This is on the engine block..with the frame number I think is 33592 or close to that.I'd have to go to the farm to confirm that for sure, but that number on the block has always made me curious. Can you tell me a little about this if you have time?

  In general, serial numbers below 501 for IH tractors usually indicate either a preproduction tractor (serials often start at 101, but there's really no hard fast rule about this) or experimentals (serial prefixes start with either Q or QC, numbers started off with 1 and went up starting about 1919.
    In the case of the experimental Farmall that was just sold, the 293 number was actually a Q-Number, which indicates it was the 293rd test article IH had built since 1919.
