[AT] firewood

A friend of mine was talking about this while he was at my place this
summer. I believe that there is a treatment to save individual trees, but
it is spendy, 250 to 300 bucks per tree. My friend had a very nice ash tree
in his yard that he planned to save. If anyone is interested, I can ask him
what he knows about it. Obviously, it isn't something that you would do to
every ash tree on your property....

Gene, Why cant you poision the bugs ?
Or pour some insecticide around the tree. Like the termite stuff that is
used in around houses. They was some stuff, Dursban if you can find it
anymore. Lindane is a thing of the past. mostly.
Whoa I dont know how these bugs attact the trees. Do they fly at some
stage in their life ? In that case it be hard to spray the whole tree on a
regular schedule.
Might not help, just my idea.
