[AT] Sickle mower ?

Don't you have the hold down guards on the top  of the sickle bar to keep it 
against the cutters on the guards. These should  make it so that no matter how 
much bow you have in the bar it will setup against  the lower cutting edge.  
with out them I really don't see how it will even  work. all my books tell you 
how much clearance these should have.
