[Farmall] Some ads from the 8/19 Lancaster Farming

I beg to differ, John. The 184 is pretty much a Farmall Cub Lo-Boy with
some useful changes, such as an electric PTO, optional three point
hitch, optional creeper gear, better turning circle, better seating, and
18 hp rating. I mow with mine in second gear, and with a 2500 rpm high
idle speed, it cuts very nicely and quite quickly.
True, IH dropped the ball on the earlier 154 and 185, with the belt
driven starter/generator and outboard clutch, but they went back to an
automotive clutch plus regular ring gear starter and 12 volt alternator
on the 184. As a landscaping tractor, it is everything that the Farmall
Cub Lo-Boy should have been.
Mine can be seen at: <http://public.fotki.com/mikesloane/international_184/>
