[Farmall] Farmall 340 Loader Question

I meant no noise in the pump. Maybe this evening I will get a chance to
work on it more. Found a little piece on the ground that came from under
the dash. Looks like a plug of some sort. Round and about 1" across and
3/4" deep. In side are needle bearings. Could not see where it came from
without taking the sheet metal off and could not find it in my parts book.
Looks like another project this evening, but getting rain now.

Wick just delivered the materials for the pole building I am having built.
Be glad to have it done so I can work inside on my tractors.

Larry

Greg, I changed the filter and changed the fluid, but no I don't have any
hydraulics. Probably air in the lines, but noise in the pump. I did as the
IH manual said and with the filler plug removed, moved the control handles
back and forth lots of time. No hydraulics.

Seemed like I had this problem 7 or 8 years ago when I had the tractor
overhauled and put back together. I do not remember how it got resolved.

Welcome any thoughts.

Larry
