[Steam-engine] Question please

Do you have any pics that you could post?  It sounds
like you may need to tighten more or maybe the seals
aren't quite right.  Are you using a thin brass washer
between the packing nut and the rubber?  The washer
should be available where you get the rubber seals and
will keep the nut from twisting the rubber seal.
