[AJD] front wheels

Duane,

I've never been confident in my understanding of the different wheel styles and it would help me if you could email some pics so that I will have a more firm understanding of the configurations. I might just find that I've got a set of JD1275R rims that I won't be needing. Also, I've got to double check the rims now on the tractor. The pictures will definitely come in handy. And thanks for the help and the offer.

Mitch

  Mitch,
The 1274 look just like 1268, except heavier. 1290 look different in the
sense that in all other JD reversible wheels (1268, 1272, 1274, ...) the
rivets/spot welds attaching the center to the rim are on the "inside" of the
wheel - by that I mean the concave side of the wheel, or the "inside of the
bowl" shape. The 1290 has the spot welds on the convex, or dished out side
of the wheel. If you see them they are pretty obvious. I have some pix of
1274 and 1290 I can email if that would be useful.
  Regards,
  Duane
