[AJD] front wheels

Mitch,
The 1274 look just like 1268, except heavier. 1290 look different in the
sense that in all other JD reversible wheels (1268, 1272, 1274, ...) the
rivets/spot welds attaching the center to the rim are on the "inside" of the
wheel - by that I mean the concave side of the wheel, or the "inside of the
bowl" shape. The 1290 has the spot welds on the convex, or dished out side
of the wheel. If you see them they are pretty obvious. I have some pix of
1274 and 1290 I can email if that would be useful.
Regards,
Duane

Duane,
After pondering the words for a week or so and then spending time in the
barn over the weekend, my question to you is what is the difference, if any,
between the JD1274R and the JD1290R rims? My parts book doesn't seem to
lead me to the JD1274R rims.
Mitch

Mitch,
With Roll-a-Matic you would want the JD1274R reversible wheels.
