[Ford-ferguson] Re: sediment filter

My sediment filter has started acting up.  It would appear that the  valve 
does not close completely allowing gas to dribble down into the carb and  
eventually on the ground.  Is there a way to correct this short of  replacing the 
entire assembly?.  Something like a replacement seat for the  needle part of the 
valve, etc is what I guess I am looking for.
