[AJD] Electrolysis Question

LOL, Thanks, that is not what I wanted to hear.  Was hoping the paint that
was on would likely stay and only the rust would be removed....The inside
has metal (rust) that is coming off in layers.

'Fraid that you will loose all of your paint if you submerse it. Dollars to
doughnuts there is rust underneath that paint. The rust will lift and will
take the paint along with it, even with using washing soda. Maybe someone
else has a solution that will not disturb the paint. Good luck,
