[AJD] Electrolysis Question

I don't know if this would work, but can you place the box in the solution 
with the side with the silk screening on top, out of the solution?  My 
experience, while very limited, is that rust is removed only where the 
solution contacts the item.  Again, this advice is worth exactly what you 
paid for it, or less.
