[AJD] Electrolysis Question

'Fraid that you will loose all of your paint if you submerse it. Dollars to 
doughnuts there is rust underneath that paint. The rust will lift and will 
take the paint along with it, even with using washing soda. Maybe someone 
else has a solution that will not disturb the paint. Good luck,
