As an old Navy man I have worked with superheated stem talk about dangerous  
stuff it can cut though solid steel in a second. You can't see it so if you 
hear  a steam leak you use a broom to go looking for it. When the broom gets cut 
in  half you know not to go any farther down that path.  I would not think 
that  this stuff would be safe in the hands of the average driver. 
I spent four years repairing valves that had been cut by superheated steam,  
I saw what it can do.
